Oh for rice cakes....

Do you know the difference between a million and a billion? Oh sure you may know how many zeros are behind the one. (Six for a million with the one, and twelve zeroes behind the one in a billion.)

But someone once said that a million seconds is around nine days. A billion seconds is a little over 31 YEARS. I’ve yet to figure out how many seconds a trillion is but I have been told that a billion is a million million, in our country. In other countries around the world a trillion is a million million million or 10 to the eighteenth power but I digress.

Our president has spent over twenty thousand dollars of borrowed, (from the Federal Reserve Bank, which isn’t federal and has no reserves), money for each and every American alive today for his idiotic wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

When is enough enough?

Here are some useful websites if you want a chance for change. Your house representative can be found at: http://www.house.gov/writerep

If you want to find your state senators: http://www.senate.gov/

You will most likely have to type in some short information like your zip code with the four digits added. That would be the five digits + four. If you don’t know that information you can get it at: http://www.usps.com/ The US postal service website.

Here is a useful site if you want to know how much the national debt is: http://www.brillig.com/debt_clock the national debt is a funny animal and no one really knows how much it is by the way.

When will we all get a chance for change? (Every second of every day)

"The budget should be balanced; the treasury should be refilled; public debt should be reduced; and the arrogance of public officials should be controlled." -Cicero. 106-43 B.C.
